Boutique Cambridge-based advisory firm, Ashcroft, is a finalist in three categories at this year’s Insider Media Central & East Dealmakers Awards. The company has been shortlisted for Corporate Finance Advisory Firm of the Year, twice in the Deal of the Year (above £10m) category and Ashcroft’s Partner and corporate finance lead, Tom Gallop, is in good company with well-respected peers in the Dealmaker of the Year category.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the annual awards, which recognises the high quality Central & East professional advisory firms that have worked on deals throughout the region in the last 12 months.
2021/2022 was a record-breaking year for the Ashcroft Corporate Finance team in terms of deal volume and fee income, increasing total deal value by 320% and the average deal value by 236%. To meet this demand, Ashcroft has grown its Corporate Finance team, including high profile hire Tim Blois, who joined recently as Corporate Finance Director.

Ashcroft has made the shortlist for Deal of the Year (above £10m) twice, for the sale of Goddard Veterinary Group, the largest independent veterinary group in the UK, to VetPartners, which completed in October 2021 and the sale of Newmarket-based C4 Carbides Limited to TTI Group.
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in Milton Keynes on 3 November 2022.
